You obviously have lived a very sheltered life or are posting complete balls.
If you have lived in the UK for any time in a mixed community then you would be familiar with these terms and many many more which have no room on this forum.

Agree about "Brit" I used it as a (forum) joke, although I do think of myself as British*.
White, faded ginger:thumbdown: wouldn't think to describe myself as this, unless on an expat forum:lol:

*Although also part of an Indian family.

I'm quite happy to be British - it's a political identity since it covers many ethnic groups. I was born and grew up in England so "feel" English in many ways, but also have known Irish, Welsh and Norman ancestry and some partly southern Indian cousins. Not sure what that makes me in a police lineup.

Why do you always come out with the same old crap?

why is it that you regard people as not having lived in a mixed community as having had a sheltered life?

We are now in the UK in our marital home, and I can assure you it is not a mixed community, we are about the most exotic folk here, and I can pass for English in anyone´s eyes.

You call it crap , I call it the experience and knowledge of the vast majority of the UK population.
You may have chosen to live in a bubble that does not reflect the experience of any city or town dweller in the UK.
I think that you will soon be in for a rude awakening if you think that you live in the " real " uk.

Keep digging JT, London, Machester,Birmingham almost every town and city in the UK is now multi national.
I am not surprised at your and Me Me 's comments now that I know they live in a community that obviously has not changed since 1950.
I do not think that Middx, Oxfordshire or Somerset count as an " inner cities ".
Do you have barricades to keep " foreigners out, do new residents have to show their passports and submit to a nationality test ".
I now have this image of the " stepford wives "whenever I see your posts.

I would say that the two people looked of Indian or Pakistani origin. There - unlike you I don't see the need to resort to a derogatory term like Paki. I wonder why you do?

We live in a part of Cheshire where it is reported that 96.7 percent of the population is of English Irish or if you like white population, so what?

Btw so do the other inhabitants so what do you suggest I do about it?

It's simply an abbreviation, a bit like Brit, it's how you interpret it that's the problem. As ex military, nearly all my mates were Jock, Taff, Paddy, Janner, Scouse, Geordie etc, nobody minded or took offence, it simply referred to where they came from.

Just for Info. the majority of Indian immigrants and their descendants don't live in inner city sink estates. Sorry, they are spread around the country:lol
Every hospital has at least one working there:)

I googled it and that is the area where I live. Otherwise I would have had no idea what the percentage was. So is not that real UK then?

We have owned our house for over 20 years and did not consider the number of whites when we bought, what an idiotic thing to say, not undexpected but still idiotic.
