And rightly so!
As for locking them up and it causing more innocent deaths ... how so?
The Irish generally dislike the English as is just as evident today. Very young Irish people carry the hatred of their Grand parents??? Having lived over there for some years I know this.
So back to your point, how does locking up criminals or suspected criminals increase crime?

Stu, you don't really want to live in a country where people can be jailed based on suspicion do you? How on earth would you control that? Who decides who goes to jail and who does not, and for what, and for how long? What is to prevent people being put in jail for dissident thought, or for political opposition, or favouritism by those in power? Jail without due process has been the mark of governments ranging from Stalin to Castro to all the nasty little south and central american dictatorships to medieval monarchs, and more. How would that improve anything?
However, I do believe if there´s suspicion of criminal activity of any kind, the Police shouldn´t have their hands tied by political correctness.
I would have no fear if this was the case as I have no bad or criminal intentions to anyone or anything.
Be careful not to drift too far from the reason I wrote what I did. EMR was suggesting that by arresting IRA suspects, criminal activity increased.
I simply commented that suspect terrorists should be arrested, and questioned as to how that would increase terrorist activity?
I´m very proud of our nation in the tollerance and acceptance it shows to all people. I do however feel that there comes a point that the protection of all of it´s citizens should be top of it´s agenda, as apposed to what upset those safety measures might impose.

I believe he security of the state is more important than the human rights of some who are known to be planning terrorist atrocities. Either lock them up or deport them to their own country. Even the Labour party says they should be put away. The new policy is the will of Clegg. They have a lot of say for such small bunch of MP's

Camo did not have the " cojones " or the unity in his own party to go it alone.
Next election , who knows, if you UKIP supporters get your way we will have a labour government or another coalition.
What do Muslim New Year, Jewish New Year and Chinese New year have in common and how do they differ from NYE.
Answer the lack of vomit on our streets .

.....and I thought you were going to say lack of women on the streets.
Just about any coalition would be better than one involving the Liberals.
They are a total waste of space.
No doubt they'd have cocked things up just as badly if Cameron had tried to go it alone

Gets confusing, doesn't it? Remember the 'liquid' bombers who wanted to explode five jumbo jets over American cities and kill thousands. They nearly succeeded, but for the joint efforts of our security services (telephone intercepts).
The US, quite rightly, grew indignant and the baser elements wanted to bomb the countries these people came from. Had the terrorists succeeded, they would have done.
The terrorists came from Walthamstow.

At least they stand or fall by their own policies rather than by influence from a party that has absolutely no chance of ever being elected in their own right.
