It's got to be an education thing, nothing else can explain the ignorance well enough for me to be convinced.

Why do you say that? I admire her and happen to find her one of the most intelligent and rational among Conservative politicians.

Another case, of a Muslim woman being "put down" on this Forum.:(

They are both Trolling.... They know the more sympathetic and better educated among us will defend the constantly attacked and they just do it to get a reaction. Don't feed the trolls, eventually one will stop acting like she is 10 and the other will get banned....

Well you can add that parasite Yasmin Alibi-Brown to that as well.

What is the good of having a woman leader, if she cannot protect other women or even herself if she has sex outside marriage, when no such fate will befall a male head of state?

Are they actual leaders, or what?

How do you know that the countries of which these women are leaders have strict dress codes? How do you know that sex outside marriage is illegal in these states?

Absolutely pathetic. Obvious trolling. Why don't you leave the thread to people who are actually interested and prepared to discuss the subject properly?

Are we reading the same posts?
As your reply was to MeMe, you do realise she fully supports Muslim woman in their plight for equal rights?
What´s with your "victim" stance?
Amazing how ones own thoughts are projected onto others!

Why would anyone be sympathetic and defend a religion that is so harsh to half of those born into it, unless they agree that women should be oppressed?

and why do you think that it makes you a better person by condoning their poison?

Nope - Bipat's reply was to Aggro.

And I agree - the way me me put down the female Muslim world leaders that were pointed out actually says a lot about her attitude to Muslim women.

My error...thought it was MeMe.

The biggest problem with this thread is people talking about different things. Some are talking about supression within the mulsim ranks whilst others, believing they´re in a conversation, are talking about equality within different muslim ranks.

From what I see, MeMe is talking about group A, and Bipat and your goodself are talking about group B!!! ... no wonder it is what it is

The nutters out out in force this afternoon,99 % of the western world etc etc.
No doubt a result of deep and educated research into the subject , I do not think.

If you read the post properly, you will see that I have not mentioned any Muslim leaders.

My post was posted in a hypothetical way, rather like saying what good is buying a Ferrari if you can't afford the insurance type question.

and I am sure that those who know a little bit of English grammar will understand.

As you can see to avoid getting egg on your face, it's best to read carefully.
