What's happened to Beni ?
As far as I know there's been three new episodes.
The first was good.
The second was poor.
The third was shite.
Tonight ....Nada ?
Wonder if they've binned it, before it got any worse ?

Probably bumped it a week so as not to compete with red nose day.
Even on the shittest episode, there was still some good waspish humour.

I watched it tonight, brilliant entertainment for those in the know, about half of the population of the UK. People come to Benidorm for a shag, and I don’t see anything wrong with that. If you’re a tennis player, you head for the Old Town, otherwise it’s the New Town. If you fail to get a shag in Benidorm, it’s time to put the pistol in your mouth.

Yup... Mateo looked hilarious!
This series isn't as funny in my humble opinion... but moments like that still make me come back for more.

I've just been watching a bit about the Benidorm series on Spanish TV.
The Spanish refer to the series as "Benidorm Bastards", can you believe ?
It was on Sexta and they showed some clips from the series, a little bit about the filming and those involved plus a few Brit holidaymakers and Spanish hoteliers.
Not quite sure what was happening there, if they are going to film again or if the Spanish are going to do their own version, as I was in my Spanish neighbours and the sound was turned off.
I wonder if their version of the title reflects what went on in the series or simply their opinion of the Brits on holiday in general ?

I would suspect it reflects their opinion of the stereotypical Brit.
