OK cleverclogs! Where did you get the Bable fish from?
Did you find it under a towel?

Cheers Ian

It actually says that TV aerials cannot be located on the facade of the buildings. I take this to mean where they will be visible, and of course will be an eyesore to many. However, it doesn't seem to say that they will not be allowed at all. I appreciate that there may be difficulties due to the fact that the buildings are relatively small, but I am sure I have seen similar size building in Spain, advertised for rental with Sky TV as a feature in the apartment. I'll ask a direct question on Wednesday and see what Paula says.

Goodnight all,

Never go anywhere without my Babel fish. And even better, I am posting this in Russian but with an automatic Babel fish attachment, so the reader should simply get this message in their own languauge.

Though I have noticed that bilingual people confuse the fish, so sometimes you get a translation to your second tongue. Sorry, Marisol.

здравствулте! и goodbye

Hi Ristema
I have been there too and they are great! Very helpful and a lot cheaper than others I've been to. I saw that they are on the Oracle web site -www.theoraclecostadelaluz.com - and in the paper this month with info about themselves. Happy shopping!

Has anybody seen Google Earth? It is fascinating and you can search for Ayamonte and then scroll up to the CE development and actually pick out your own place.

Regards Mel

Shortest way to Ayamonte? Does any way know the quickest route to walk to Ayamonte from Esuri. I heard that it is a 25 minutes walk, but by road it is 10 minutes by car!!

Thanks Mel and John for the great pics. Nice view over the golf course. Were they all taken 7/4 ?

Hola!
Hi Mel & thanks for the fun photos! Is there someone hiding behind the kitchen door? The view of the hills across from the river is like a tapestry. Your drawers are delightful, too! Nice to see how the interiors are finished. You must be pleased.
Hi, Mike, sorry can't help you on the question re: walk into Ayamonte. It would be handy to have a cycle/pedestrian path from where a marina is planned, then under the bridge, and along the Rodadera del Castillo (below the parador). Does anyone know if the road running along the riverfront from below the parador continues along the riverfront up to the ferryport? Or, does this same road turn in towards the convent/church of St Francis? I need to dig out the town map...
I might find my answer on google earth, as you suggested!
Regards,
Carol

Thanks for the photo's, I see you have the mirror to our property on M3.
Do you have an update on the back gates as I was also a bit disappointed to see that we did not have one as I understood access to the community area would be via a back gate.

Regards

I met CSR whilst we were away and she gave me lots of interesting info about the area, I am sure we talked about a shortcut she had found to take you off the CE site and to Ayamonte.....but I cannot remember details, it wasn't the vodka it is that Fanta limon that is very strong !!

Mike & Diane

Yes all taken 07/04, it was quite dull when we got there but the views were lovely. Shame this site hasn't got a "sniff" facility as the smell of all the orange blossom was beautiful.

Carol & John

You hawk-eye you, yes my son hid behind the kitchen door as soon as the camera was raised. So pleased my lovely drawers have been noticed - very compact !

Dennis

Yes, we are miffed about the gate. Our agent said the council objected because of the slope, it could be dangerous to allow the direct access - I don't understand or agree. Our original plans given to us Oct 03 show a gate and also I would have thought they would have been required as an escape/emergency exit from the property if the front was blocked - say fire ?
Apparently we can put them in ourselves later if we want to so that negates the reason for not having them in the first place doesn't it ?

Regards to all

Mel
