and who could forget ATARI - PAC MAN and Space Invaders (bought a version of that for my pc but its not as good as I remember) and before that commodor 64, what a nightmare they were

It's strange this nostalgia thing, I'm supposed to be working but little memories keep floating back over the mists of time.
When mum sent me shopping I used to have to quote her Co-op number which I can still remember now, 40 years on. If I came home without the saving stamps there was hell to pay.

Even better a bottle of coke, put a sugar cube on the top and smack it in with your hand, empties the bottle in a nano second. ;-))

Taking empty pop bottles back to the pub to get the deposit back.....we used to sneak into the yard, get the bottles then go in to get the deposit
