The speeding parallel thats come up a couple of times is really not valid. Sure, we all speed, but if we are caught we pay the ticket. Thems the rules.

What if rather than speeding by the emergency vehicles (not a law in Ontario AFAIK) someone had been hit by your car and killed? Is it still OK then to skip the court appearance?
