Still at the end of the day, it is what your CO needs from you right now, and if you are not happy to do so then tell them so, but I would guess that would definitely have a negative impact on your visa decision.

Yes! you are right... i have to fulfill their requirements. However, I got frustrated bcoz I got an email last year in April from my VO stating that all requirements are met and there'll be some bg check.

Now after an year, the VO is changed and the new VO started asking for same things.

Anyhow, i will submit my docs again.

Hello Narl,
Have you applied for Australian Immigration? I have appplied for it. But it's taking much time. Now it has been more than 2 years.
Can you guide me, how much time it took in your case?

I'm too worried.

I think you are asking the wrong person Muzna, Narl hasn't applied yet and is worrying about declaring motoring offences.

I wouldn't declare parking tickets - not sure on other motoring offences. If in doubt declare them Narl

Edit - sorry Muzna, if you are unhappy waiting for your application to be processed, you can always withdraw it but they will not refund the application fee. The costs of applying for a new visa subclass have also risen considerably.

If time is of concern to you, the easy solution is to withdraw your previous application and lodge a new one in visa subclass190 which is being processed within 6 months on average. However you will have to go through all the hassle again.

@ Old.Sparkles,
I appreciate your right advice.
I don’t wanna withdraw.
But it’s true that I am unhappy of such long delay and wait. They are proceeding too slowly. For last 2 months, our case officer hasn’t replied to our emails.
This makes me worried. Do you know this procedure?

@ Tevta,
Time and amount both are important for me. I have paid a heavy amount.
If you know the procedure then guide me please.
What is Visa subclass190? My hubby is Software Engineer and we have applied on this base.

I've moved your posts to a more appropriate thread, as your query had nothing to do with the original poster's question(s).

Many people have waited for longer than two years. It depends on what priority they are, how much of a backlog there is, if they're from a high or low risk country, etc. There's no point in finding out how long other people's cases have taken, as theirs will be different - no two cases are the same.

Try not to worry too much. Believe me, I can appreciate how stressful it can be to have to wait without knowing how long it's going to be. All you can do is wait.

Hi Muzna, they don't reply to the status update emails now. Read the automatic notification email.
