Sorry to keep going on about it, but I'm just thinking of friends and family wanting to visit us from the uk and having to spend 3 days...

I trained in Germany 20 years ago and Australia sounds very similar to the way nurses work over there. Nurses in Germany are nothing special and the doctors are called " the Gods in white ". We don't...

I've read very little about Care Homes on this site......how are they run and would there be a chance of a job. Does anybody actually go over to Oz and work there or is it all hospital work/ med....

I am working to get the 136 ..so we can move to Queensland/Sunshinecoast ....
That sounds really depressing....as we are all told how desperate Australia is for nurses......So where are the jobs...

Just wondering if anybody could tell me firsthand whether there is enough work for nurses.....
We were thinking of emigrating to QLD, but it seems the job situation is not what we are meant to...

What is the differents between the 136 and 134 appart from the fact that 134 is state sponsored and you will have to stay in the state for 2 years
( hope that is right anyway)
