I have the hub but they also offer an app, but I've never tried it.

After reading this thread I found a stream locator hub on ebay. Brought it with me to tenerife. Can only say it's the best and easiest way to get UK TV apps to work.
Wife uses it and it works...

Have you tried your mifi in different locations to see if you get better reception.
what card did you get with the box?
you will need unlimited data sim.

i find mag boxes a bit old these days.
firestick with tivimate added and iptv about £45 a year.
i can't think of a box that will just plug and play,
you will have to youtube and learn how to set...
