how long is generally very difficult to answer, nobody here has a crystal ball....

however, if ur case is straight forward u should expect to have medicals cleared within a week or so.

my advise would be that if ur case is relatively simple then do it urself otherwise hire a gud agent

MSguy meant they only accpet liquid assets. Liquid assets typrically inlcude cash in bank and some short term highly liquid investments which can be redeemed within 3months.

Yes, thats true. You simply have to take the acknowledgement email from DIAC of receipt of PR application and ur passports to medicare office. They will then issue u a one year interim medicare care...

keep in mind that ACT is a small business centre and consequently will have lesser job oppertunities. One very major employer there is the federal government, but permanenet residents are not...

Apparently you dont need a visa stamp on ur passport, all u need to do is to take ur visa grant letter with u and the airline will let u in....

only if u wana live in NT or ACT, i dont think there is any major IT employers there anyway....NT biggest town is Darwin,,population 80,000 or so.....

so IT professionals are wellcomed there at...

I dont think super be claimed anytime by paying a fee to the fund manager..its usually locked untill retirement..thats the whole purpose of super

I just read the relevent rules from immi website and ATO website. There is some confusion as to rule 3 above " that you have departed australia"...there are some PR visas which can be granted onshore...

I think safin made that comment, which is very strange. As far as i understand in this scenario 176 visa should be granted not 175. Maybe safin can come online and clarify this for us.
