Nice. Like others I do however think that NZ needs stricter gun laws.
I get very wound up when duck shooting season starts and by brothers seem to think beer and duck shooting go hand in hand.

I've got some family that live up that way and they seem to love it. For me it's a bit too far from the rest of NZ (just my opinion off course).

Some lovely small towns and incredible bush up...

Some of the beach's on the west coast of Scotland up towards Oban are incredible.

A big con has to be the distance away from family. I skype my family every day so they can say hi to the kids....

in the UK houses are as cheap as they've been since 2007 in most of the country and the exchange rate is perfect to return to UK.

my go to food is marinated mussels and peanut slabs. not together hmmmm. But you can't beat a home kill roast mutton with roast potatoes, pumkin and the works. Yum.

Where in Taupo you live. I used to live there in the 90s. Was on the original crew and the bungy setting it up etc and used to raft the Tongariro. My Parents have a batch at Hatepe so...

I hate it where we live in the UK but thankfully I have plans to leave and go and come home to NZ.

Yeah some rivers and lakes are a real worry and very sad. Before I left NZ in 1996 I was a raft guide in NZ so it's sad to see how they have become so polluted with algae. Hope they clean up.

I was shocked how expensive it is back home. When I first moved to the UK i couldn't believe how expensive the UK was but in general costs, especially when earning dollars, NZ is more expensive.

I'm a kiwi and I don't like Milo. It's not chocolate though. We were force feed the crap at boarding school in NZ and I've not been able to touch it since.
