I was talking to a lady here who's 70 and she's apopleptic about the healthcare bill - Obama is trying to kill her or something :confused: so I think he had a mountain to climb getting anything...

Looking at your link, it was more about 'people who make the game beautiful', which I think some like Pele did. Plenty who don't :lol:

Oh I'm sure that's true, the poster I replied to put in terms of US/UK. Speaking to many parents and educators locally, they say it has changed around here in recent years with pressures to teach to...

People are very quick to say, "Children are adaptable" and override their feelings...what your daughter said really must have been heartbreaking.

We did what we did and have to live with it.

One can be happy without having to add that Britain is a dump.

Similar experience to yours, many members of my family have received amazing NHS care recently, 2 are getting the home visits 3 times a day, my friends are doing fine and most certainly do not live...

I must say I think it's somewhat over the top to label the entire country a 'dump'. There are plenty of super-crap areas in the US if you take your own rosy specs off.

Totally understand where you are coming from, our whole family feels the same way, however our house has lost too much value for us to move at the moment plus Britain is not good for public sector...
