Unfortunately I doubt it will have much effect in that I think the embassy probably has its hands tied by the UK government insistence that the spirit of Brexit is applied. As I understand it Spain...

We have been through this numerous times. You can not legally have two licences but some people who keep uk addresses are able to have both but of course you are meant to inform when you change...

Depending on where you wish to live I would be inclined to wait. If you intend to buy a villa away from a town with no bus routes or walking to shops, banks etc not having a car would be impossible....

Unfortunately I imagine they mean a 6 month grace period for those who were resident before Brexit not 6 months for people who arrived after.

It makes perfect sense that someone who is a resident in a country and drives no doubt frequently should have a decent level of the language of that country. How would you like it if someone bumped...
