Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

I wanted to get PR since I came here, that was the...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

No, I have highlighted from the start that it's my personal point of view and this is how I feel. And it is. If Canadians tell me that Toronto is the most exciting, most vibrant city in Canada then I...

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

No, not a culture but part of it, vibrant nightlife and pub culture are just that - parts of british culture. I like energetic intense cities like New York or New Orleans. Toronto doesn't have that.

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

You don't get it. I can find people to get drunk here with or go pubbing, I can find guys to go on dates, but it's all painfully boring. Canadians are stiff even when they are drunk.

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

Fir enough. I miss fashion (non existant here), vibrant night life, people who like to get drunk, all sorts of nationalities, dating and great career opportunities. I actually prefer food in Toronto.

Seattle, New York, San Fran, LA, Boston, Chicago, NY, New Orleans, these cities are all different, they represent different mentalities and each one of them has something very unique to offer.

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

I see you are taking it personally, no need for that. I'm sure there are many people who think that the UK is a dump and it's ok, it doesn't bother me.

Re: Is anyone else massively disappointed in Canada?

Really? How come? I think Toronto is great to raise children, safe, clean, green etc. Even their teenagers look like they don't rebel.
