Yeah, it's a common quandary for those with a decent income and no bloodsucking wife (or exes) or spoilt children and plenty of leave :lol: I do have a bit of the wanderlust ;)

Morocco: historic old cities (Fez, Marrakech, Meknes) and Essaouira and maybe a swing into the Atlas and the Sahara. Something will likely have to give as I only have 8-9 days.

Been there, done that (though could return to Malaysia, not been to Penang (thanks for the suggestion CoDurham). Not keen on Vietnam despite the good food).

I was intrigued. Till I discovered the flights from Doha would take about 14 hours due to two layovers :blink: A real shame otherwise it might have ticked the right boxes.
