That wasn`t the case with aunties knitted trunks, didn`t need to lose its opacity, they dangled to my knees in any kind of water. lol

Yeah, if its been shut you have had no water circulating over the tablets. ;-)

Always leave the skimmer valve open except when hoovering, unless your hoover pipe fits in the skimmer, then close the main drain valve to nearly shut, to give more suction to the hoover.

I first saw it a couple of years ago on another site, Finlay my grandson used to get me to put it on all the time. I think its great, they had a website done like a doodle book, as the cursor went...

The pump should always be turned of when moving the valve.

Yeah put a couple more tablets in.
Dont put acid in that will raise it you need to lower it.
have a look in the filter bowl, as matt says it may need cleaning out. you could try a backwash and...

PH is high, should be around 7.4 and maybe killing the clorine which should be between 1 and 1.5, or it maybe just the rain water.
Put some more clorine in, preferably granuals this will work...
