Having known some Australians and New Zealanders, I would have to say, NZ'ers tend to be friendlier, although the difference isn't that great. Just my two cents worth. :)

They'll be on a permanent visa after 2 years, so after I arrive (If I stay) I'll have to wait a year or so before I can get Australian fees. :)

I do have an aunty who lives 30 mins train journey from college so I guess thats worth a try lol. Trouble is she is on holiday and won't be back for another 2 weeks!

Trouble is, house is sold and they are waiting to move. :/

As I said, an apartment could be an option but it's £500 a month- thats a LOT of money!

It's not really my choice though- my family is moving in november and I would actually like to stay and complete them. I suppose I could rent a flat and study although thats pretty expensive.

Wow. How stereotypical. It depends where you live in regards to temperatures. Vancouver, for example has wet and mild temperatures like the UK whereas the prairies do have cold and long winters....
