Err, well, I think the consensus is - Don't go near the place.

And rent before you buy, that way you get more time to make your mind up.

Learning spanish is a good thing to do as well.

Yes of course it is and you're quite right to say so, but my view is that it's only OTT if everyone they are dealing with is telling the truth, and sadly that doesn't always happen.

I've heard that there are lots of "bargains" out there with exactly that sort of problem and worse, some are earmarked for demolition and some of the "fine people" that own them are trying to shift...

Our friends warned us about Torry before we went.

It's a huge sprawling place that has grown exponentially from the tiny town in the salt flats...

I've been to Torrevieja, just once.

I had a lovely meal at the marina at a place called Veni Vidi Vici where they were very kind to my very difficult 2 year old grandson.

The Land Grab laws have been causing misery to everyone who is affected.
It's not like the Uk where you have a reasonable prospect of compensation in a reasonable time, and you can negotiate.
