It is doable but fairly painful as you will be heading up the Al Ain road which is currently being upgraded - but is not a pleasant road to drive on! There are other schools closer to Al Safa 2 but...

I would wait until you get here as schools are such a subjective choice and you will want to go with your gut feel - both of you! Once you have a school place then find your home. I am with DXBtoDOH...

Dependent to a great extend on your daughter - however, DESC (IMHO) is head and shoulders over the others. Good for sport, performing arts, not a hot house but strong results, excellent leadership...
