Hi,

We have used HIFX in the past and now use Halo Financial, who I have found give a slightly better rate than HIFX for one off tranfers and monthly tranfers.

If your OH's TWP is in the right skill levels, you are able to get a SOWP, you don't have to be with him when he arrives, you fill in your own application for a TWP, ensuring it states SOWP on...

Yes, you can do a forward contract to secure the rate, but the company shave a bit off as they are buying it for you up front, most ask for a 10% deposit to seal the contract, you then pay 90%...
