Thanks, Elske and Nina, for the info on fees. Glad to hear they're quite reasonable (esp judo!) and am amazed at the frequency (3/5 x per week) too. Looks like my kids will have busy calendars out...

we will start viewing homes only after we move...we'll be in a serviced apt for the first month...viewed some property at KCA/ARG during the recce so we have some idea of what we'll be looking at...

was just debating the same with DH - living in a well-established community (ie al raha with 1,000 families, kca, etc) vs. a 6-villa compound like the advertised one at sheikh...

wondering if anyone knows if there are any karate or tennis classes offered in AD? we're moving in oct 08 and i am hoping my kids can continue these classes out there rather than let...

actually townhouses do differ from villa layout-wise....they dont have as many ensuite bathrooms, and no family rooms i think....anyway, u can check it out on the website.

btw, can anyone advise...

tbird - congrats on finalizing yr home; cannot wait to get to that same state when housing is settled....will be visiting AD to sort housing in jul/aug (moving sep 08) and as my kids are registered...
