A friend of mine lived in Holland for about five years and never really learned much Dutch and got on fine. He did get quite a lot of stick from his dutch friends though!

My concern with the TWP application and IT LMO exception is with the job title. I'd say my job offer comes under 'MIS Software Designer' but it's called 'Data Analyst' on the job offer. I can't see...

The job shouldn't need LMO as I hope it comes under the NOC class that doesn't need LMO. Should have mentioned that.

My wife and kids just got back from a Calgary visit and now she's in love with Okotoks! If we go ahead with a move there I'll be looking at commuting in to down town Calgary....

Well your CAD salary in GBP goes down if the FX rate changes.
But you CAD shopping in GBP also goes down.

The only time your really exposed to FX changes is when you arec transfering money...
