They will also be looking for experience, the red seal is just the start persuading employers at this time may be difficult. I know that in Calgary and Edmonton work has started to pick up.

There are companies which do crash courses in Ontario for Red seal, not sure how much it costs. I don't think there is too much going on in Toronto just now.

I'm in Fort Mac but it's still slow...

A guy I worked with had a similar problem with his son, he appealed through a lawyer and was successful.

I know he has got his PR now, I think his appeal was based on that in the UK you are not...

My original TWP was 6 months, it would only be extended if I was successful in passing the Redseal which I was, I then received a 2 year TWP but was laid off two months into it.

Working as a Contract Journeyman Electrician been with this lot for 5 months the last for about 7 months. We are only paid for our 6 months flight, I flew home after 3 and paid it myself.

No thats only for western Canada, Alberta, BC, Saskachewan. I am supposed to work six months then have a month off, not a great rotation.
