If you get sponsored by an employer do you still need to do the skills assesment? Or are you able to miss it out?

ACS dilema

We have a bit of a dilema: either study for the CISM exam in december which is around £300 and hopefully pass and meet their requirements and then apply through acs the B route about february time....
