I wouldnt rule out the Manchester area. The city has really moved on since the bomb and the centre is certainly has a great vibrant feel to it. It feels very safe and is now very european in feel....

We have used economy car hire a couple of times. We have found the service really good and had no problems. They also give you loyalty points which you can use for future visits and discounts.
