Great post Exile. After 3 years in Aus and 3 years back in UK we've now returned to live in Aus again (only back 1 month!).

This is probably not the right forum to discuss as I'm back in Aus but...

Good old guilt, urgh!! That's why we returned, I couldn't settle but looking back my parents were angry, resentful and used subtle emotional hints during our phonecalls, those comments I would carry...

My family all loved Aus except me, I feel so guilty for bringing the children back to the UK. I thought they would stop thinking about Aus after a few months but 3 years+ later they still talk about...

We are due to join the "ping pong" club! We spent 3 years in Perth (02-05)and returned purely for family, emotional reasons, I found myself quite vulnerable to my parents comments, I felt selfish...
