Just another point of view on the commute. My oh, does it every day and is very happy. Gets on at Coomera. Either 6:55 or 7:10, doesn't get a seat usually but prefers a good place to lean....

His employer says they want to keep him on but Electricians have been taken of the list so they can no longer sponser him for the 457 Visa. It was early days and they had'nt yet put the forms in....

There are loads of more modern areas around the northern end of the Gold Coast and more being built each month.
Have a look around Coomera waters it's quite a nice area.

One other possibility is Scabies. I know it's not a nice one to think about but very easy to catch. I only mention because yo said "very itchy" which is often classic with a scabies rash.
