Not really worth the fighting is it,us normal people would never win with the big wigs lol, but pleased they have taken it from when we validated our visa's oct 06 and not from when we came for good...

Thanks rang them today and we can go for citizenship from 25th oct this year so best start saving $260.00 each kids under 16 go on yours so only have to pay for 3 :thumbsup:.

So they have gone...

We banked with HSBC and have kept the account open, have never had any problems they send statements to Australia address and new cards, you just have to remember to acitvate cards just a phone call....

Bugger :thumbdown:so does that mean we can apply for citizenship from the first date we entered the country , which was oct 06 for validating visa, or from jan 07 when we came for good ?

Thanks santa, i've just been to my local post office all she said was we don't do it here and to contact the embassy helpfull (not) lol no rush thank god it doesn't expire till june 2010 so have time...

Yes some say it's isolated but we have everything we need, and we have'nt had any trouble finding work there's plenty out there what do you do ?
We love weekends, even more so in the warmer months...

Thanks bluekipper we just bought house in maddington, were on a no through road next to tonkin h/way opposite harmony fields, so nice and quite for us, we like it and for what we got 4x2 with pool...

Yes there are lots of nail bars around, but really the idea of saving myself money on something i'm always paying for appeals to me, plus having the option to work for myself or go mobile...
