Having lived on both sides, i would say go to Italy for lots of holidays, but working life is better in the uk. You will be able to do TEFL in Italy but you may not want to do that long term. IMO,...

I think you just need to renew your UK passport. I did this in Italy, years ago but it was quite straight forward - I did it through the consulate IIRC.
Residency doesn't mean you have citizenship!...

Hmm... I lived in Italy for many years and did shop there when I had to. I don't think you should need to get a consumer rights association involved if you want to take something...

I don't think consumer righst and customer service are concepts which have made it to Italy yet.

I do so much more shopping in the UK because of this. IMO you can only buy in Italy if you're 100%...
