My understanding (OH came over on a PMV and his Spouse visa was approved this week) is that the only condition regarding the wedding is that it occurs with in the 9 month period. I see no reason that...

Thanks. He came over with me on a Prospective Marriage Visa, then we had to appply for a Spouse Visa (Temporary Resident) in 2 years we then have to do the Permanent resident one.

it is not the system, but the school you need to look into. Some private schools are crap, some state schools are great. Find the general area you want to live in and then look into the schools.

Oh! No, Notre Dame Indiana doesnt OWN Notre Dame Fremantle. NDUS is more like a sister uni. It "inspired" the building of NDA and had close ties with, but not owned by them.

Exactly what the enrolments lady said at head office, pollyanna- that it is not a common visa etc etc. Had it not been for your advice last week, tho, OH would have just believed the first people and...

Moste certainly depends where you lodge and the current wait time. We have been told that our spouse visa could take 8 months (Sydney) so OH is on a bridging visa till then.

As an aussie, it depends who i am out with. Sometimes we just each get our own drinks, and other times (usually the men!!) will go rounds. I hate it when people buy rounds tho cos i only drink water...

is there a reason that you need to take so much stuff? I went to the UK for 2 years and only took a 60 litre back pack. Perhaps you can scale down the packing.
