My friend in Spain has been to the Orange shop for me. They say I can have a sim with unlimited (but admittedly slow) internet for E3.50 per week (taken off the credit balance like an ordinary PAYG...

Are these monthly PAYG contracts? The Orange one we use now is just top up as and when needed and that is what I need due to the infrequency of our visits.

We come to Spain for up to a month or so at a time. We have a Spanish Orange PAYG sim for calls and texts on a mobile phone. We are thinking of "tethering" this to a laptop so we can get internet...

A little help from anyone who has taken their dog from the UK via Dover/Calais ferry (DFDS/Norfolkline I am using, but don't guess that makes any odds) then driven through France to Spain (Alicante)...

1 to 5 days in the current guidance so should be plenty to let us drive up to Calais. I wasn't keen on having to find a vet in Calais then wait at least 24 hours, particularly not as I am only half...
