to be frank i'd look at mallorca first, learn spanish to a good degree and then maybe do ibiza after a couple of years

spanish is a *must* if you want to ply a trade here - you'll be very lucky to...

the main fiesta is the 3 kings on 5/6th january all over the island - thats the one NOT to miss - also the first week or so of feb is the almond blossum around santa ines - the little village becomes...

IMO most of the english live in the north so when winter comes the main areas to find the expats are santa gertrudis, santa eulalia, san carlos, san juan

spain and ibiza is much more bar/pub...

here on ibiza it started raining heavily about 11ish in the morning and didnt stop until about10ish - thunder and lightning all day

one idiot decided to go kite surfing in playa den bossa...

christmas isnt celebrated the same way as in england - its much more understated - basically the 3 kings day is far more important - 5/6th january. all over the island you'll see...

its funny how the island has its own north/south divide

i dont think its really snobbery - its just thats the way its happened because in the winter the north comes into its own - i always say...

wait until november or so and the tourists have gone and go to pacha - its my favourite club only because theres so many rooms and terraces and different styles of music - my favourite is the funky...
