As thoughts of seeing the PR in the NEW Year looked imminent we finally recd the email for PR request today.. so just the pictures and passport to be sent by CanadaPost today.

There is no pattern in which CIC processes medicals for issuing PR. We received our first response on Medical after 4 weeks asking for further tests for myself. The second time round...

Thanks MR79 and Kev, Mandy for your response. I have contacted the DMP and seeing them on Thu. They did say they have had quite a few such requests recently... even though the x-ray was clear....

Hi,

Just as we were hoping all was in order and we receive PPR we got the white envelope asking for further tests...:(

Sputum smears and culture for TB ... Repeat Chest X-Ray on/after Sep 15.
