Experience for a 457

Hi guys

My bro is currently doing a level 3 carpentry course here in Australia and he has an option of being sponsored for a 457 once completed but......

Does the 2 year course count as...

Yes. In fact there are a whole range of different KitKats here; regular ones, strawberry, mint, cookies and cream, chunky, dark chocolate, white chocolate, the list seems endless.

We came over on a 457 in March '08. We flew with Singapore Airlines. I called them at the time and asked about extra baggage allowance, but since we weren't coming on a PR visa, only allowed 20Kg...

swimming bugs in our pool

Can anybody help us with this problem we horrifyingly found in our pool this morning?

The pool was full of swimming bugs.....they looked like they had wings which they were using to swim with.

Fastest way would probably be to submit everything together rather than wait.

In our case we were able to use the police check and medicals from out 457 visa application as they were still valid....

Couple of things I use to manage itching at night:

I keep my fingernails trimmed to minimize damage from scratching.
Wash our bedclothes in non-biological washing powder and NO fabric softener....

This had 127K on it, is a 2001 model and had an ugly paint peeling bonnet. Have the bonnet (and bumpers) re-sprayed...

Children who will be in full time education or nursery etc will need medicals done and if they are over 11 then they will need chest x rays as well.

Believe me I know how pricey they are.....we...
