Re: UPDATE Re: N-400 timeline, Dallas (Oct 06- )

Yeah, I noticed that, and I assume some cases just go through faster than others. If it weren't for the slightly scary error message on my status response, I wouldn't've given it another thought ...

Re: UPDATE Re: N-400 timeline, Dallas (Oct 06- )

Even better - my case status online now says my case doesn't exist anymore.

USCIS won't talk to me because it hasn't been six months since I filed.

Guess I need an Infopass appointment ...

Re: UPDATE Re: N-400 timeline, Dallas (Oct 06- )

Some colleagues at work naturalised last year, and their whole process was completed in about four months ... guess the wait is a little longer these days :(

I'd advise you to get an immigration attorney to help you identify and complete the paperwork.

As far as timescales go, my (USC) wife and I applied for my transfer of status from H1-B in February...

However, that doesn't fit into any of the categories...

Re: How to get a credit history?

Re: Traveling on passport with maiden name

This will be my last comment on this point: it is NOT illegal to let people on planes without matching names.

Re: Expensive UK TV

This is not actually so.

A NTSC TV will gather some information from a PAL signal. You will see a "doubled"picture; the image is recognisable but appears twice on the screen.
