alot of surgery is done pallitively, often high doses of pain releif are sedating and she probly wants to be lucid , as i would want to be. The op will in no waybe an attempt to cure her, its to help...

this relates to breast cancer screeening and therefore has no relevance to cervical cancer. No screening process is infalible, without it though more people would die
