Hi

We are currently renting in Varsity Lakes and our daughter is 9 year old and goes to Varsity College.

We are in a rental it's 4 beds, no pool, no air-con, no fans, and we pay £470 a week.

They went to NZ last Friday, but I believe they may not be coming back here! We're missing them.

We've been up and down the coast but we quite like Robina and we're looking at quite a few rentals...

We arrived on 28th August and are currently staying at the Pelican Cove Resort. It's lovely and the managers have been really helpful! :thumbup:

I'd heard that it is cheaper to rent a car once your there.

We were thinking that it would probably be a lot easier getting a transfer than having to hunt...

Apparently we can't advertise with another agent whilst on with Halifax, but we're going to look at some other EA's in the area...possibly something to look into.

It's just so frustrating.

If its not on at a very realistic price nobody in their right mind will view... Houses have a lot further to go downwards before people will feel confident enough to buy again. The downward pressure...

How did your hubby's interview go?

We had our Open Day today for the house - a load of rubbish. No one came...although I don't think it helped that Halifax forgot to advertise it...

We didn't ask for a valuation it was just a letter put through the door from a local company.

The house was on for 140K, which we thought was a good price a year ago. Now we've recently dropped...

A local home buying company posted a letter through our door, which said that they were prepared to buy our house for £30,000 under the asking price. :mad:

It'll be interesting to see if you get...

We've still not sold, been up since last May. We have arranged with the EAs to do an open day later this month. We have to validate before...
