they never needed the blood tests for Spain just UK and they are no longer required, check the defra website, they are the ones with the rules and regs and will give you the correct information

It is always best to check the Defra website, as this has the most up to date info.. Uk vets are still recommending that flea & tick treatment is still used before entering UK. The tape worm tablet...

You don't say exactly where in Alicante but there is a Torrevieja.co.uk website that has a pets section, there are always puppies found and waiting for adoption, some little beauties of late too :)...
