North of Torriveija just by benidorm , yes the church square is a nice place to eat and drink coffee and watch the world go by

lived in torrevieja a few years ago we rented first of all and visited other places North and South also went inland but it wasnt for us, we settled for Gandia area which is very spanish, and love it...
