I do some work down in Gordonvale and have been told it is a nice estate, some of houses with view..although I havn't been myself!

Gordonvale has a lovely old centre and also some nice old...

have yet to see it but "Samson and Delilah" is supposed to be amazing..I wasn't too impressed with Australia either. i thought Hugh Jackman was o.k and the little boy amazing but Nicole Kidman?!!!

When we arrived many locals told us we wouldn't be able to cope with the rain and the humidity in summer.

Having come from Manchester the rain here is a lot less. It doesn't rain all through...

Having been to both but living in Cairns for 10 months now I would be biased to Cairns..but I guess it also depends what work you do. Cairns is tourist based but not purely so..I think everywhere is...

Yes, we were both drunk but no hangovers and dog still got 2 hour walk along Ellis Beach followed by bacon sandwhich at the cafe!!

There is only one taxi firm in Cairns!! We paid $45 dollars to kewarra beach..about same as the U.K..dont know if anyone else coming from cairns that could pick you up?!! Would have...
