If you fancy something a bit energetic, the 50 min (roughly) Baden Powell hike at Deep Cove (about an hours bus ride in total from downtown, changing bus at Phibbs Exchange) is worth the tired calf...

We get brown water for the first 5 secs when running the bath in Kits (Vancouver) and when we lived in the West End the bath used to turn a nice greeny blue colour.
