Talking to some nurses i know ( Hamilton is full of 'em) direct is best, but negotiate a decent relocation package, at least flights, 7 days accomadation ans $2k ( dont stay at the Abbey Travel lodge...

I'd be more concerned if the kiwi's didn't like my accent!!!! Have also had Brits thinking i am a native, having been brought up in a holiday town that has no real "accent identity" i seem to pick up...

But you are not living in Kent, and sadly too many French live in Paris for my liking. From HB, where can you actually get to in 2 hours? Its nice to have a choice, Hamilton gives it to me & my family

I'm sure this has been done to death, Hamilton rocks guys & gals. 2 hours from a truly international airport, 90 mins from the Mount, 45 mins to the surf at Raglan,2 hours to the ski slopes, house...

Never too early, not to worry you but the house market is slow, i know of 2 families who waited & one took so long their visas ran out and one had to go to the expense of a holiday they couldnt...

A fair and VERY valid point Rascal, but Amanda gives the impression that NZ is her favored choice, or at least her hubby seems to think it is, i just hope their choice is a good one.

sadly i cant recommend as i have not done this, i think maybe as its just wages being talked about here rather than investment it could be an option? the Nationwide does seem to be a good option...
