Yes we do have indefinate returning residents visa's which as the name suggests would lead me to believe this 90 day rule is incorrect but it would be nice to know for certain.

Check Ray Whites Real Estate Arrowtown as they have a rentals page but your right there doesnt seem to be much about at the moment. Work is mostly in tourism or construction.

I transferred across in 2006 and was lucky enough to get Queenstown, so my perspective is different from others. Auckland, which is where most people end up is another big city with all the 'big city...

We had heard Broadbeach was a good spot. We intend to arrive on Oct 28th - 29th for a 7 night stay. Any reccommended apartments would be appreciated or if you consider another area...

We have been living in Arrowtown for the last 2 yrs, its about a 30-40 minute drive from Wanaka if you go over the Crown Range.
It may be worth you having a look here before you decide on Wanaka....

We are building on the South Island with a company called David Reid & we are having Vulcan heating, which is warm air or a/con in the winter.
