We are flying out to Perth at the begining of January, so what banks would you recomend - the ones we are considering are either Commonwealth or Westpac as we can set up our account before we go.

Our registration with the NBWA took 2-3 weeks, the payment bit was part of the form (I think!), though after applying we did recieve an email saying it could take up to 6 weeks.
