I lived in Toronto for one year before moving up to Bracebridge last December.

The scenery is breathtaking however, the winters I hear can be harsh. My suggestion would be to live not too far out...

At the end of our PR journey, we decided to flagpole at Niagara Bridge this weekend just gone rather than wait 3 months to "land" by appointment.

Had our passports requested by CHC London following PR application and sent the relevant passports by secure post on 29th September. Its been just over 5 weeks and have heard nothing.

Thanks for your help, i think we'll bring the deposit in cash and pay the landlord cash to secure a property.

We'll have to negotiate the rest, if the landlord is not happy with that arrangement...

We were thinking of banking with RBC. In the UK it takes a few days for a transfer to clear between accounts. Is a same day clearance possible in Canada then from UK account?
