No med requests/letter from CIC yet

No med requests/letter from CIC yet
Hi to all!
Just a quick question PR applied for London, AOR Oct 2006, info request letter Oct 2008, documents sent 29th December 2008, moved to Canada on 18 month Study Permit Jan 2009.
I have still not heard any response from CIC London (yes I have updated my correspondance address!!)
I read others have had med requests, my application on CIC website says 'In progress'.
How long should this take to receive a decision?
