Agreed, however Telstra 3G mobile Broadband does give the best speeds and coverage. Their mobile infrastructure is the best - despite them being a nightmare to deal with.

My nephew has been here 4.5 years. He was 3 when arrived - now nearly 8.
He sounds totally Australian, and even laughs at the way we say stuff now hahaha.
I think kids under 10 tend to find it...

My opinion varies slightly from others.

I would say that moving now with your kids is better.
The older the kids get, the harder it is to move.

Originally applied for the Temp Visa in March 2007. Granted within 3 weeks.
Validated in June 2007.
Emigrated in Nov 2007.
Paperwork for Perm Visa arrived end March 2009. Sent back 2 days later....

Just to let you know that hubby's spouse Visa has been approved. Got a letter in the post on Friday :D

Applying through Canberra (even though we're in Adelaide). The initial application was after the deadline set by IMMI, which means the second stage processing has to go to Canberra.

My hubby had been chasing his paperwork too (the two years was up this sunday just gone - 22nd march). He called a number of times, starting in Jan to confirm they had the correct address...

i also should add that i hope i may get a longer term contract at the place i work now - maybe up to 2 or 3 years.

I think the issue with it is that if child lives with mum, the address that the passport is sent to needs to be his usual residence. However, if dad applies for it, the address would not be childs...

haha

when i was looking into all the visa stuff i found a few people in the same situation. Ex's seem to be a real problems, especially when there are kids involved. :(

But one success story...
