Glad the meds went well, visa issue is a total lottery. Recent delays were due to a backlog caused by students visa medical applications in Sydney. Hopefully you wont have to wait too long.

My best advice:

1) Patience is everything, this isn't a quick process (you knew that already).

2) Get Skype, runs on a PC with speakers/mic, even better if you have a laptop with a built in...

I'm a UK refrigeration and a/c engineer by trade. The latest systems are inverter driven and are called VRF (or VRV depending on manufacturer), which stands for variable refrigerant flow (volume)....
