hello mate, their last recruiting drive was about 9 months ago. on that occassion they recruited about 30 officers, mostly PC's i believe.

i'm not sure when the next drive will be, or even if...

ah, i see. so you were in NZ and applied for the job over there? i was thinking of doing the same but thought that in order to apply you had to be a NZ resident?? if that's not the case i might go on...

What is the work to residency scheme and how easy is it to apply for? I have 3yrs service in UK and really want to move out to NZ...sooner rather than later!

I've got a new Yam R6 and an 04 VFR800... used to have a CBR6 b4 the R6.

500 quid aint bad to ship the bike..

as for converting to kms, all i have to do is press a button!! done it in europe...

i was thinking of taking the tank off and also the fairing, and packing this seperately... at least the shiny bits wont get scratched... then wrapping vulnerable parts of the bike in padding.

thanks for the quotations its useful to know when thinking of moving... does it matter what you put in the containers as long as its insured..?? i.e can i put a motorbike in?

I too have had my interview in London, which went ok. It was more of a chat than an interrogation and i think i may have missed the opportunity to 'sell myself' to my prospective...
